I. Campout Theme: Caving at Carlsbad Caverns and Hiking Guadeloupe Peak Trail II. Departure Time and Place: Meet at church at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct 11th, 2024.  Depart at 6:30 p.m. Sharp. III. Camp Friday night we will be camping at Camp Tonkawa in Tuscola, Tx., Saturday night we will be camping at Dowling Aquatic Base in Carlsbad NM and Sunday night we will be camping at the Group Campsites at Guadalupe Mountains National Park at the base of the Guadalupe Peak Trail IV. Transportation: We will travel by car for this campout. V. Return Time: Our goal is to depart Guadalupe Mountains National Park 8 am at the latest.  We should return to Otto Middle School around 6-6:30 p.m..  VI. Food: Scouts should eat before departing on Friday.  We will be eating and cooking as a troop for this campout. We will be doing Grab and Go breakfasts, sack lunches with dinners in town. VII.
